It's Cyber Monday.
So let's cyber!
PASS.
Gonna cyber all day long.
Wink wink nudge nudge say no more say no more
I can just imagine what "cyb" means.
Hello.
"...The New York Times took a look..."
Suddenly, the NYT will be 'journalists' again.
Mornin', Rufe.
I wonder, did the NYT take any credit for it's major role in putting Castro in power?
No, they're still pissed that didn't get them another Pulitzer like Durant's wonderful reporting did.
Cyber *warfare*!
/has flashback to 1994.
Cyber this.
It makes no sense to me that this is the only context that anyone still uses the name "cyber". Can someone please rebrand this retail holiday?
Desperate Merchant Monday?

I laughed. That might be self-righteous school-marm Tuesday, though.
Well, people celebrate Christmas in Taiwan, a mostly Buddhist country. Just another marketing opportunity.
Cyber security has unfortunately made a resurgence.
It's like you don't even cyberpunk anymore.
Cyber me, Xerxes!
Donald Trump claimed "millions" of people voted illegally and called the recount effort by Jill Stein a "scam".
538 gives him a 30% chance of being right.
Jill waited until the last possible moment to file the recount request in order to provide the least amount of time possible to do the recount before the EC deadline. The goal is to exclude the electoral votes from those states and create chaos, not to flip them from Trump to Clinton.
Several reports say that the WI recount only begins after she pays for it, so expect to see that check arrive at the last possible moment too.
Sounds good to me. I've been #TeamEntropy this whole time.
I've been #TeamEntropy this whole time.
Thank you for your support.
*polite applause*
I'm not buying that. Why spend money to interfere unless she hopes to win herself (lol), or to flip the EC results to a more favorable outcome for her followers. I suspect that she's doing this as a surrogate for the Clinton campaign so that they can get their desired recount and have someone else take the heat for being a sore loser. Also that this was the price for Stein and her people not being purged.
She's not spending her money, and futile acts of protest are in her wheelhouse.
Odds of flipping all 3 states to Clinton are low, but odds of using protest tactics to slow-play the recount process and keep Trump below 270 too are much much higher. Time to get more popcorn.
Its not her money.
And this will have people giving money to her.
Yes, and we can well speculate on exactly who will be bankrolling this.
Castro's will?
The Clinton Foundation's not-yet-satisfied customers?
Whatever the case, it is curious how Hillary went from 200-300,000 vote advantage in the popular vote immediately following the election to more than 2 million. Wonder if the plan is to keep recounting until her highness gets to 270 (see WA governor's election 2004 and Al Franken 2008)...
They haven't been recounting. They're just tallying up the remaining votes in states where it really doesn't matter.
Guess they were too distraught to finish counting them on Nov. 9th.
The recount process in MN for Al Franken dragged out until July
That would be unacceptable. AFAIK there is no constitutional mechanism to fill the vacancy. Biden's term ends along with Obama's.
I assume that if neither gets to 270 then the usual constitutional rules for that situation apply.
OK, so any state in the midst of a recount wouldn't get to participate in the EC vote, which would mean the House of Representatives would decide.
So Trump wins 240-191 with 7 Republicans defecting for Johnson? Is that better or worse than 310-228?
Without 270, Trump doesn't win. The new House of Representatives would have to vote (each state getting one vote).
It goes by "a majority of the whole number of Electors appointed". So any states that haven't appointed electors don't count toward the number of votes required.
I DON'T TRUST YOU.
"I'm not buying that. Why spend money to interfere unless she hopes to win herself (lol), or to flip the EC results to a more favorable outcome for her followers. "
I think it is pretty obvious. This is marketing/pr for her and the green party directed at the snowflakes. Double bonus is the snowflakes are paying for it with their donations. I am pretty sure if Coca Cola was told that their customers were willing to fund a multi-million dollar ad campaign on gofundme the account would be open tomorrow. Shrewd move but dishonest of course but then again she is a communist. They aren't exactly known for their honesty.
Makes you wonder what Stein is getting in return.
at the very least she gets attention a little longer.
Donations in excess of what is needed for the recount go to the Green Party.
Tactics or strategy?
Does a recount mean a particular state's previously certified vote results become null & void? That's the part I don't get.
Meel-yonz! Meel-yonz I tells you. Big league tremendously yuge numbers of illegals.
Fidel Castro died on Black Friday.
Awww, and he was just a few more political prisoners away from making Cuba great again.
So you don't think well-kept decades-old automobiles and decrepit housing are enough to make a country great?
We'll find out soon enough...
Cuban mechanics are already great. It's a pain in the ass to keep old (non-Chevy) American cars running in the US of A.
Get visas ready for them. A highly-skilled occupation.
Lololololol no, they don't do anything I haven't seen fat hillbillies do under a shade tree.
Yeah, and leftists are all butt-hurt that Trump tweeted: "Fidel Castro is dead!" Apparently the correct response for right-thinking people is to ignore the firing squads and property confiscations.
Well, Tonio, see it's all 'grey' and 'nuance' with Fidel. You have to understand, assessing Castro takes an open mind.
So why are closed-minded proggies doing it?
Right, we have to add context to Fidel Castro but Trump is literally hitler and a white supremacist.
Hey, Castro provided free heathcare, improved literacy and fought imperialism abroad! Colin Kaepernick said so.
+3: free heathcare, improved literacy and fought imperialism
-3: breakfast, lunch and dinner
I got octopus coming out my ears!
Jesus, please tell me that idiot didn't go there.
What is up with this horseshit literacy meme? a) Does anyone believe any metric a slave state produces, and b) so fucking what?
Oh, and c) high literacy isn't altogether surprising given that despotism requires a compliant citizenry, and mandatory childhood indoctrination facilitates that. And these barking seals are lauding that fact.
"because they invest more in their education system than they do in their prison system,"
Assuming this is true, it just means Castro's minions in nominally responsible for educating people were more favored by him than the ones nominally responsible for keeping people locked up.
Also there's the obvious "you don't need to spend that much on prison when most people end up shot in a ditch".
Anyone who can read is a person, anyone who can't is mentally defective. 100% literacy. Its like 0% infant mortality. Any infant who dies in the first two weeks is retroactively stillborn, and then doesn't count. Jesus. Its like you guys don't even know how statistics work.
That's another thing I find enraging about the clowns carping on about a select couple metrics coming out of Cuba: they genuinely believe these stats are comparable across borders and that Cuba isn't doctoring them like the Soviets did and the Chinese do. Fucking clowns!
Taxpayer cost of incarceration in the US: Approx. $39 billion/year
Taxpayer cost of elementary and secondary education in the US: $550 billion/year
It's best to doubt everything they say...
Other sources give a figure for incarceration that doubles that to $80 billion. Still less than $550 billion.
He said what? Is there no saving this guy? What are they teaching at Ohio?
Kaepernik played at Nevada.
He was born in Wisconsin, raised in California.

The true colors really come out whenever Cuba is mentioned. Imprisoning, torturing and killing political dissenters... hey that's ok with us because intentions!
This should be a wake up call that many do not value human life when those humans get in the way of "progress." I guess I shouldn't be surprised to see so many psycopaths holding top political positions, but it is hard to fathom.

Yes. Irony is a slippery thing.

It is more than a bit ironic to hear the same people who constantly bitch about "imperialist foreign wars" praise Castro. As many of his victims were Cuban, even more were Latin American and Africans who dies as a result of the numerous proxy wars he started and funded. It is for those assholes forever "okay when we do it".
Cuba (and the Soviets) supported the Derg in Ethiopa, which is the major reason why so many 'enemies of the people' died in those Ethiopian famines in the 80s. You know, the ones the Lefties were all singing about back then.

I'm guessing Suzanne Weiss just got back from a Thanksgiving weekend where she discovered her parents weren't actually all that thrilled with her degrees in Gender and Sexuality Studies, Modern Culture and Media, and Cognitive Neuroscience from Brown University.
Does she really have a degree in cognitive neuroscience? Because I'd think that someone with a degree in cognitive neuroscience would be familiar with the benefits of positive reinforcement.
From Brown
Something tells me that isn't particularly rigorous as far as biochemistry and neurology is concerned.
She should have read them her peer-reviewed paper 'Toxic Masuclinity in Pokemon and Other Rape Games'.
That would have garnered some praise from her heartless father.

But I am the logical conclusion of capitalism. This is exactly what capitalism looks like.
In one sense she is correct. Capitalism generates such wealth that society can tolerate such idiocy. No truly poor person is lamenting personal achievement and success.
I sometimes wonder if the people who write this understand what it means to be truly poor? I think most of them are examples of everything they hate. The whole SJW movement is an exercise in self-loathing.

And lemme tell ya, I'm troubled.
I sort of agree and it is nice to feel morally superior to the Pope.

I felt morally superior as soon as he started criticising the system that has pulled more people out of poverty than any other.
In his latest tweet storm, Donald Trump claimed "millions" of people voted illegally
How many college students register and vote on campus and also send in an absentee ballot at Mom and Dad's house? I suspect the number is greater than zero. I also suspect many of them are so ill-taught that they don't even know it's illegal.
I believe the registrars discourage that to the extent that it's legally possible, ie they know the addresses of all the university-owned housing and will not register people who give those addresses.
Having said that, students who live in regular apartments could well double-dip if they were so inclined.
When I went to college in MO, I registered to vote while in university campus housing and there wasn't a problem. I just took along a bill from college for housing. Now, I am sure I could have double registered in my home state as well but I would never try it.

"OK, what do you want to tweet next?" the hair asked the hat, his nimble tendrils poised over the keys of Donald's cellphone.
"Well, let's see? We've made run of Jill Stein's recount effort and Hillary's support of it, so we've made the point that there was no voter fraud?" the hat said. A pair of reading glasses were perched on his bill and he was looking over a series of notes the hair had taken earlier. "OK, I got it. Tweet this: 'In addition to winning the Electoral College in a landslide, I won the popular vote if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally.'"
"That makes no sense," the hair said.
"That's why it's funny!"
The hair grumbled but tapped away at the phone anyway.
"Have you sent it yet?" the hat asked.
"Hold on, hold on." There was a whooshing sound from the phone of a tweet being sent.
"Let's see Kellyanne talk her way out of that one," the hat chortled.
"You know she's on our side, right?"
"Fuck her. Her face looks like deep-fried buttskin."
I must admit -- the SNL "Kellyanne's Day Off" skit was well done.

Castro: A Letter from Khrushchev
damn.
Castro was certifiable.
BUT HE WAS SO CHARMING!
From the first draft:
Interesting that a drunk who's famous for banging his shoe on a podium was the adult in the room.
I have to think that Krushchev had a perspective on war that Castro did not. Castro and Che were romantics, fighting the good fight against American imperialism. There was no sacrifice too large.
Kruschchev managed to survive Stalingrad and Stalin himself. He obviously wanted to live.
Interesting or troubling?
Could you imagine those psycho conversations?
"Does what I tell you, or I'll have the KGB kill you..." is how I imagine them.
I wonder who the adult will be when Duterte and Trump meet...
Hopefully, Mattis will take Duerte aside and explain the actual history of what happens when banana republics stop being annoying and start actually bother megastates. What was his line from Afghanistan? Something like, "I come in peace. I didn't bring artillery. But I'm pleading with you, with tears in my eyes: If you fuck with me, I'll kill you all."
I hope we don't have to carry out diplomacy like that, but if Duerte's going to set himself up as a supreme leader outside the law, let us treat him differently than parliamentary democracies with strong rule of law.
Being the cynical bastard that I am, I'm guessing Jill Stein keeps as much of the donations pouring in as she can, doling out just enough to keep the recounts sorta going and in the news, to get her even more donations from leftists in denial and pick up votes for next time around.
The chance of a recount actually happening in PA is very small and they have a very tiny window to get everything done.
PA recount very difficult to pull off
Also, Trump has a 76,000 vote lead. No PA recount and this folly is over.
IMHO, Stein is just fleecing useful idiots out of some money. I hope the result of this is that Trump changes his mind and Hillary gets indicted over something and we all know there are all too many somethings that could make it happen.

See, Trump values loyalty (so he says), so this just makes no damned sense. He asks Mittens over for a coupla chats about taking the State job, great chats, just the best chats, and then sends forth the minions to talk shit about him.
These people are freaking weird.
Assuming that was the real Kellyanne...

Mind. Blown.
Trump did prison bitch Mitt with the, "He would've gotten on his knees if I had asked him."
It's a ploy. Create appearance of reality show-style drama within the team, rile up the media by tweeting something outrageously false, take focus off shady business dealings and potential conflicts of interest.
Carrot and stick. Mitt didn't have any interest in the carrot, so she goes out and hits him (and the GOPe that he represents) with the stick.
Trump is literally a troll. He calls in people who talked shit about him during the election for various reasons, and then destroys them. Press? Check. Romney? Check. I wonder who's up next on his "Payback is a Bitch" tour?
These interviews are 90% about social signalling and 10% actually looking for people to fill a position. Maybe the chat didn't go so well. Maybe the point of the chat was just to signal to other NeverTrumper hopefuls that Trump might hire a few from that camp. We don't know.

And by the way @DrJillStein, you're free to move out of the United States, the "shadowing empire," and to Cuba at anytime.
The struggle for justice in the shadow of empire apparently includes show trials and summary executions. It's amazing how forgiving leftists can be for things they would roundly condemn their own country or the right for. The guy was a straight up mass murderer.
I don't think the left would roundly condemn the unfortunate - but necessary - culling of the intolerant redneck herds.
They never understand that they will be on the wrong end of those show trials and summary executions.

They arent only terrorizing the comments now. http://www.fosters.com/zz/elec.....ign=buffer

Nice band name.
Heads Hillary wins, tails Trump loses.
All I want for Christmas is for every time a journalist claims America is a democracy, a public teacher gets fired.
They'd start by firing the few teachers that actually say it's a republic.
I literally cringed every time I heard that flappy-eared dunce in the oval office make that claim.
Recently had a relative repeat the fundamentals of "You didn't build that" to me to support her demand that businesses with money parked overseas should bring the money back here and pay the hefty tax on it because they are obligated to. When I tried to explain how incentives work and what the Laffer curve is she crossed her arms, turned her face away and claimed "I am not stupid".
I had had a couple of drinks, lost my temper and yelled at her "Yes, you fuckin' are."
I was out of line, but goddamn. She still won't speak to me.
No, you really aren't out of line. After seriously attempting to explain reality to these assholes, only to have them refute all said attempts, you finally have to thrown up your hands and tell them exactly what they are: Fucking retards.
Throw in a frog-punch or a really hard flick on the earlobe for the journalist in question, too.
Towel snap. I used to be deadly. Could hit an ear from anywhere on the line.
Go on...
Towel Snaps: Swiss is Into That.
Seriously. And I would love to watch the entire leftist platform put to a true democratic vote, one issue at a time. See what's left.
I think that's a good summary of the "educated" Left's stance on things.
Bankers helping Greece crack down on cash.
http://www.keeptalkinggreece.com/2016.....x-evasion/
The irony is the only way for Greece to survive (to the extent it exists) is to let Greeks handle it in a free market. Let cash reign. But nope. Let's double down on the stupidity.
They should drop the mask and just go full Castro already.
Full Hero, you mean.

Does anybody still care about chess?
I've been playing Chess on my iPhone. The computer opponent isn't very smart - at least on the low-to-mid difficulty settings.
It's also a great game to learn some of the the concepts of war. My recent playing has given me a new respect for the lowly pawn.
I've been playing on at least a hobbyist level since my mid-teens. I enjoy it greatly. A month ago, I scored 3 wins, a loss, and a draw at the Houston Open in the under-1800 section.
My last game was a lot of fun. I managed to win a pawn in a kind of gnarly position, but I fucked up immediately and went down a pawn. I made the game as thorny as I could and sure enough, my opponent blundered, allowing me to fork his king and queen.
The opponent was a high-strung fellow, seemingly unhappy with his position after every move, fidgeting and sighing almost constantly. His scoresheet was indecipherable. When I made the final move of the game, it was as if someone just told him his house had burned down. The whole thing was pretty hilarious.
If I last 15 moves with my kid, I'm playing well for me. A couple years ago, he came to work with me one day and played a couple games with my boss. Unfortunately, he spent both games trash-talking him. "Oh man, you really suck. Are you really my dad's boss? Huh. Well, I'm not going to beat you yet, what I'm gonna do is take all your pieces first."
This was not a good career move for me.
Eddie Hitler is now the new UKiP leader
You know who else was Hitler?
Lord Humungus?
Yes.
*hangs head in shame*
He's worse than Hitler: "He promised to "put the great back into Britain" ".
He's Eddie Trump.
Despite the likelihood that US President-elect Donald Trump and the Republican-controlled Congress would kill any controversial late-in-the-game moves by Mr. Obama, federal agencies under the Democratic president are pushing for a flurry of so-called "midnight" regulations on everything from the environment to transportation and financial marketplaces.
The Dept of the Interior just declared a "moratorium" on mining permits on public lands in the vicinity of Yellowstone. Because OMG Yellowstone is more precious than gold!
Fucking nimby dipshits would rather see their neighbors on welfare or working for minimum wage (or leaving Montana altogether for jobs in other states) than have icky mineral extraction happening. They act like Emigrant Peak is going to be stripmined.
It's going to be pretty satisfying to see Trump nullify all this garbage with a stroke of a pen during his first week in office.
As far as I can tell, that sulphorus deathpit has a negative net value. It's an abcess in the crust of the earth waiting to kill everyone in the area.
Sounds more like an ingrown hemorrhoid.
At a minimum, culling the weak from the herd.
So what the hell happened to the Friday links? Is the day after Thanksgiving a holiday that I'm unaware of?
/resumes cloud shouting
Comaday. Everyone celebrates either by being in a food coma or by trampling each other in a maddened high.
I dunno, in Casa de Doom we basically re-purposed it into another Boxing Day. A holiday so fantastic, now I get to have it twice in one year!
In his latest tweet storm, Donald Trump claimed "millions" of people voted illegally and called the recount effort by Jill Stein a "scam".
Given top dem operatives bragging on video about creating false flags and cheating on votes coupled with Obama openly encouraging illegals to vote I would say Trump is probably right on the money.
50:50. Millions of illegal votes> Doubtful. Scam by Stein? Absolutely. Interestingly, the first report I read about this was from NPR, of all places.
I heard it on NBC this morning with emphasis on 'but Trump has offered no evidence of this'.
"Scam by Stein". No. This is an effort by the Dems to make a talking point for the next 4 years of "Trump is illegitimate" by forcing the election to go to the House.
It's about as twisted and destructive a thing any 'public servant' could do to the country. The Clintons are evil.
Yes. It's all about the fundraising, and her bullshit has been remarkably transparent.
I need some help from you libertarian nutjobs: My girlfriend has decided that she would like to go shooting for the first time ever. I have been considering purchasing a rifle for some time now, and I have fond memories of starting on a simple .22 caliber rifle when I was a kid. After looking into it, I realize that there are a lot of different rifles out there that fit this broad description.
So, I need your help. I want something easy to clean, load and shoot. What advice do you have for me?
I have a Savage Mark II that is very easy to load and shoot, clean action (bolt action) and was relatively cheap.
It was only hard to clean in that I had cleaning rods for larger bores and needed to get a new kit.
The shooting range I used to go to had gun rentals. That's when I learned that I don't like .45s for target shooting.
^This. Let her try out several models.
That's a great idea - I didn't know that they do this! Growing up I had a friend that owned a bunch of different guns. I liked his .22 but I didn't like the .9 mil. Never tried the .45. I'm most concerned about kickback for her. I want her first experience to be easy so she enjoys it.
Move the decimal over one. .9mm would be one hell of a wimpy caliber.
What? You don't like needle rifles?
When my kids started shooting I bought a Savage Mark II FVT. A heavy-barrel bolt action .22 with a nice trigger out of the box. With good ammo it is far more accurate than most shooters. About $400.
http://www.savagearms.com/firearms/model/MARKIIFVT
The side of mine doesn't have a letter code, I think I might have one of the earliest Mark IIs they made. The closest to mine I can find in the catalog is the II F http://www.savagearms.com/firearms/model/MARKIIF . What year did you pick up the one you've got?
2008 or 09. It was good for the basic kids' shooting class at the club. Doesn't have all the sling points and that kind of stuff for more advanced Olympic style shooting. Quite a few annoying squirrels met their maker very quietly via subsonic rounds with that rifle.
Hrm. I wonder how long my letterless Mark II was sitting in that cabinet at the store. Because I only got it in 2011 or 2012.
I think the only difference with mine is a heavier than normal barrel , adjustable rear sights, and a choice of front sights (circle style target or military post).
I put a scope on (it came drilled and tapped from the factory) What made me think I'd gotten into it earlier than that on the product run was because it wasn't in the big book of guns when the store I sent to to get a scope mount was trying to help me find one that would fit. They didn't believe there was such a thing as a savage mark II until I brought it in. (this was not the same place I'd originally gotten it)
This looks very friendly - I'm pretty sure when she thinks "rifle", this is what pops up in her mind. Something that looks like its used for hunting. I'll save this to my favorites thanks!
Get a ruger 10/22. They are widely available, relatively cheap, simple, and fun to shoot. The semi-auto aspect keeps attention longer for newbies. A bolt/pump/lever can be fun, but can be tedious also.
The 10/22 has been around forever and you can get all sorts of configurations.
Strongly recommend starting her out with reactive targets. Targets that bounce, flip, explode and far more engaging for newbies. Cheap diet soda cans are excellent. When full they spray, when empty they will fall over/bounce with 22s. Only use diet....sugar is sticky.
Can you link me to one you suggest? I would love to do things like cans/bottles but we're stuck going to a range since I live in the suburbs. I'm not sure if they'll let me set things up like that (they wouldn't when I was a kid).
http://www.ruger.com/products/.....odels.html
You can buy them anywhere and they come in a gazillion models.
Find out what the range allows. Maybe they'll allow plastic flip targets or something.
This might be the winner - these look exactly like the first rifle I ever shot. Semi-auto ftw. Love it, I think I might pick this up. Thanks!!
I'll call around to the different ranges near here and see what they've got/will allow. Thanks for the advice!
Another vote for the 10-22. That was my second rifle growing up, loved it. Easy to maintain as a teenager. .22 rounds have gone up in price considerably since then, though.
Any suggestions for a scope?
Just go with iron sights. Unless you're shooting long range (which would not be recommended for a beginner), scopes are not needed.
I started with a scope and loved it though. It helped me line up the cross with what was on the actual target too.
Seconded. My dad has a 35+ year old 10/22 that still functions flawlessly. They are a lot of fun and very accurate for a cheap semi-auto .22. They eat just about any ammo too. I run a cheap Bushnell 3-9x magnification scope on mine.
I have an old Marlin Model 60. You can find one dirt cheap and it's a perfectly good choice for a first rifle.
How much do you want to spend? The price range is very wide. I have a used Browning BLR that I paid a hundred bucks for and it is a joy to shoot. I paid about 300 for my Ruger 10-22, also fun, but I don't recommend she learn on a semi-auto. I also have a Kimber Super America with fancy walnut that I paid around $4000 for.
Almost all of the 22 rifles out there by major manufacturers are very good. Go with a bolt or a lever. Also, buy a decent scope and some tannerite targets for 22's. She will love that. Make it as fun as possible and she will be pavloved into orgasming every time she smells freshly fired 22's.
http://www.ruger.com/products/.....odels.html
I am leaning towards this one. I learned on a semi-auto when I was a kid and loved it. Why do you suggest a bolt action for the first go-around?
Also, any suggestions when it comes to scopes?
Also, anything under $500 is fine.
I suggest it because I have seen this happen many times with inexperienced shooters. You can find many videos online of people doing it, it is common behavior.
The novice is carefully told about gun safety and how to operate the gun. They prepare to shoot full of anticipation then 'bang'. Whew! I did it! Wow!
They are excited and want your approval. Their brain turns off and they turn toward you with a huge smile on their face and are completely unaware that they are pointing the gun right at you with their finger on the trigger.
A gun with a manual action is much safer to learn on.
Ahh I see what you're saying. This is definitely something I need to consider... I definitely don't enjoy the thought of being accidently shot.
Or just load a single round. You don't have to fill the magazine.
You're smart. This is a good idea! Thanks!
If you know about human behavior and new, exciting, novel experiences you should see this coming. Unfortunately unless you have seen it or had it happen to you, you just don't.
*A guy I went to HS with had his left leg shot off below the knee when he tried to teach his girlfriend to shoot using a Ruger 44 mag carbine, the large caliber version of the 10/22.
For a good scope on a 22 it is hard to go wrong. I put a 50 dollar Wal Mart scope on my 4000 dollar Kimber and I cant miss with that thing. 5 shots, one hole at 40 yards. Something in the 3X to 6X range with a large reticle so she can see well.
Awesome, thanks!
Isn't the Ruger 10/22 the standard first .22 rifle?
Ruger products. Start with a Ruger 10/22 rifle. Then get a Ruger Mark IV or Ruger SR-22 pistol.
Mister Flanders- I like these.
Henry makes a modern version, I think.
^Excellent suggestion.
Just saw a picture of my friend's father teaching friend's grandson how to shoot with one of these (I assume) this weekend.
Sorry, grandpa was teaching grandson. friend is son to grandpa and dad to grandson.
Hmm, I'll have to save this and see what she thinks. I'm not sure if she is thinking modern or older type.
Cabela's has 'em.
"Thousands line up early to pay homage to Castro in Cuba"
http://www.sfgate.com/news/wor.....639188.php
Well, Senor and Senora Gonzalez, would you care to join the mourning, or should be burn your ration cards right now?
I'm sure there's some of that going on. But I'd also guess that they are plenty of Cubans who truly worship the man. Right through the early 2000s there were still people in Russia who mourned Stalin.
I'm sure also. When I was in the PRC several years back, that slimy murderer Mao had his mug plastered on about every second surface you looked at.
I was disappointed that I saw only one Mao-suit in the wild when I visited in 2001.
"Is this the ration line?"
"In a way"
This is a few years old but a fascinating read. In short, a man drove into a remote piece of Maine country, got out of his car, and spent the next 27 years living outdoors, burgling houses for food, and avoiding all human contact.
Each of those Brady Bunch kids dealt with trauma in their own way.
Was he the one that fucked Florence Henderson (RIP) or the one who does hair implant commercials?
Hair implant I think.
It's rather miraculous that he survived all that time, given the extremes of the Maine winters.
What an asshole.
The Boston police department is set to buy social media monitoring software
This will be used only as prescribed, I'm sure.
I don't drink chardonnay.
Unfortunate. Not ironic. Another dumb Canadian.
No, Betamax, which shows the superiority of the socialist system

Those poor moose, though. What did they do to earn such an awful fate?
That thing looks sweet but I think it will scare her. I want something that looks a bit more like we're hunting deer. I see some people suggesting the Savage Mark II FVT... that looks a bit more friendly for her.
The Mark II G is the same gun with a wood stock (same price range) if that makes it friendlier.
The left praises a guy who would have been happy to see everyone of them and their entire families dead. The left is the epitome of anti-human.
Maybe this one can be my second one, once I get her foot in the door! 🙂
Suck me off. Does that rhyme?
