Donald Trump won big on Super Tuesday, tightening his grip on the GOP nomination. Even New Jersey Governor Chris Christie (R) has endorsed the former reality TV star and real estate mogul.

It may seem surreal to watch a candidate joke about shooting someone in the street, dating his daughter and failing to condemn the support of the Klu Klux Klan, but Super Tuesday demonstrated that this man might actually turn out to be president.

It's time for us to face facts: Hillary Clinton will almost certainly be the next president of America. Even if Donald were too disappear tomorrow, the damage has been done. Assuming the GOP can find a way not to fumble away Congress (*gulps*), we need strategies and trades that can increase freedom in this configuration of GOP Congress with a Clinton Prez.

Here's one idea: give Hillary everything she wants on immigration in exchange for a total repeal of Obamacare. Assuming she wants freer immigration, that would be a win-win for freedom.

It could be argued that Hillary is actually more dangerous, owing to her being less of a caricature of herself -- that Trump would make such a mockery of the office, by the simple fact of his having won it, as to render it, and himself, essentially powerless. That crash won't lead to a depression necessarily. The 1929 crash did NOT create the Great Depression. There was a recovery that was borked by Smoot-Hawley and massive tax increases.

June/August crash? Maybe. But there's just as much evidence to believe that all the money flowing out of China will enliven the US economy for a while. Indeed, the recovery is slowly grindingly happening. There will be interest rate increases. If the theory that easy money is suffocating the US economy is true, then the monetary tightening will engender more economic growth.
