Rather than try to summarize this Ezra Klein article, I'll just post a series of quotes from it:

Yes: The title impressed Klein so much that he mentioned it twice.
Anyway. You know that Gore isn't going to run; I know that Gore isn't going to run; Klein knows that Gore isn't going to run; you and I know that Klein knows that Gore isn't going to run; Klein knows that you and I know that Klein knows that Gore isn't going to run. But I'm pointing you to his piece anyway, because I thought you might want to see what clickbait looks like in technocratic center-left circles.
