Dinosaur Taxi Service: So Good They Labelled It Twice

    1. UnCivilServant   11 years ago

Wouldn't you want to ride in a Howdah on a dinosaur? You could charge a pretty steep rate and people would still ride - because it's a dinosaur!

As for cartel taxis... not so lucky

      1. gimmeasammich   11 years ago

Only if I get to bring a howdah pistol. You never know when any rogue animals might climb up and try to snatch me.

    OT: Cracked.com rides again...

So Darren Wilson, allegedly savagely attacked in the line of duty, didn't file an incident report about it, nor did anyone in the department. Don't worry, because that very day the case was handed over to the big guns: the St. Louis Police Department. After a request from the ACLU, the STLPD refused to release a copy of their department's incident report, and spoiler alert, it's because they didn't write one either.

Photography Is Not a Crime is covering the lack of proper paperwork because they'd tried to get a copy of the incident report around the same time the ACLU did.

Who's driving the dinosaur? Where's the worthless air freshener hanging from the mirror? Where's the mirror? Where does the passenger sit? Where is the taxi and limo official medallion?

    1. UnCivilServant   11 years ago

"Dinosaur is Google Self-Driving Dinosaur, no hackney required. Air is naturally fresh, being free from human-stink most of time. Passenger sit in box on back. Medallion is on other side."

      1. Almanian!   11 years ago

This sounds like the answer to one of those "what's different in drawing two from drawing one" cartoons.

        NEEDS MOAR LABELZ

        1. Swiss Servator, Bern baby Bern   11 years ago

As always, Almanian! gets to the heart of the matter - IT NEEDZ MOAR LABELZ!!!

    2. Brian D   11 years ago

The medallion is far more expensive than the cab is. Too risky to have it anywhere near the public.

  5. Almanian!   11 years ago

I'm nearly speechless. This is almost good.

Not horrid, therefore, not perfect. Happy fucking Friday, Reasonoids - you got an early nutpunch from Payne, who deviated from script. YOU BASTARD!

    *shakes fist*

    1. Swiss Servator, Bern baby Bern   11 years ago

Note he chose Uber over Lyft .... I don't think Payne can draw a moustache.

  6. sarcasmic   11 years ago

Cartoon is incomplete. It's missing the Velociraptor with a badge chasing down the Ubermobile.

    1. Notorious G.K.C.   11 years ago

Uh, excuse me, if you are alluding to the movie Jurassic Park, which I can only assume you are, then it would be a *T-Rex* chasing the car.

      /Comic Book Guy accent

        +1

      2. invisible furry hand   11 years ago

He is alluding to his own private fantasy

      3. sarcasmic   11 years ago

Um, no. Tyrannosaurs are believed to have been solitary creatures, while Velociraptors are believed to have been pack animals. Government engages in organized violence. Thus Velociraptors more accurately represent government agents than Tyrannosaurs.

          Except, raptors could run.

          1. sarcasmic   11 years ago

            True.

            1. Swiss Servator, Bern baby Bern   11 years ago

But would not a T-Rex better show the "G"? Ponderous, deadly, yet useless for other than scavenging and opportunistic kills, does not work well with others? And those tiny arms would be a perfect symbol of ... something.

              1. sarcasmic   11 years ago

Cops work well with other cops.

              2. lap83   11 years ago

a symbol of how short we want the arm of the law to be?

        3. Stormy Dragon   11 years ago

Real velociraptors are also the size of a small dog, and wouldn't be nearly as scary in real life as they were in the movie.

  7. Notorious G.K.C.   11 years ago

The dino is smelling the gas from the car and thinking, "Uncle Fred? Is that you?"

        I approve. Greatly.

  8. Rich   11 years ago

And notice how the Uber zips between the dino's legs, rather than simply passing. It's such amusing details that make Payne's cartoons a continual delight.
