I say we boycott libertarianism until commenting gets fixed. WHO'S WITH ME?
Being a libertarian, I'm not much of a joiner.
It's lacking in a little of the Belushi like enthusiasm that we libertarians expect in a leader!
Dipshits like Dalmia, a website that doesn't work; this place is slowly swirling down the crapper.
"Fuck you" were Tupac's last words, according to the police officer who first reached the scene of the 1996 shooting that ended that rapper's life.
He died as he lived. Profanely.
HIT 'EM UP
Secretary of State John Kerry will go before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee to answer questions about Benghazi.
Maybe he can answer what difference, at this point, it makes.
Ambassadore Stevens had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of Libya in addition to the normal ravage of war, and the normal and very particular ravaging which is done by the applied bombing power of this country.
It's seared into the secretary's memory.
So he was a typical American cop.
This is killing everyone, isn't it?
You just made the list, pal.
Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.), who teamed up with Rep. Justin Amash (R-Mich.) last year in a bid to stop blanket NSA phone record collection, lost an appeal to get on the ballot for re-election after some paperwork flukes.
Maybe he'll be replaced by someone who actually does stop blanket NSA phone record collecting.
Turns out a federal judge just countered that decision

Just like they would do if it was a 3rd-party candidate!
U.S District Judge Matthew Leitman's official decision: FYTW.
I hate to be that guy, but is somebody doing this to the Reason website on purpose?

Perhaps somebody who shows up at 4:41PM and can suspiciously comment after all my comments all the sudden? Somebody like that?
Or maybe someone who seems to be able post freely while everyone else languishes in comment hell prodded relentlessly by squirrels with tiny pitchforks. Maybe it is someone like that.

You weren't a suspect, but you are now.
Mary is turning us against each other.
Well since by his own admission, Fist IS the internet, he should always be the prime suspect for any posting shenanigans.
I can't comment with Chrome or Explorer from my work machine. For some reason I can comment using Sea Monkey on my home PC.
If nobody can comment, I'll have to go to Huffpo for my commentary fix. Please don't make me go to huffpo
I can only read so many hockey blogs, especially when it's not game day.

Secretary of State John Kerry will go before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee to answer questions about Benghazi.
Mr. Kerry, tell us what your predecessor wouldn't...
Old horse face will be doing a lot of neigh-saying at those hearings.
Kansas City, Denver, Dallas, and Cleveland are the final four cities being considered to host the 2016 Republican National Convention.
As a resident of Dallas, I politely decline on behalf of my fellow residents.
It has to be Cleveland, because nobody lets people down like the republicans.
The Browns are insulted!
OT (if that's possible in a links post):
Looks like crypto-Marxist proggie darling Piketty was cooking the books for his "income inequality, OH NOES!" screed.
http://www.businessinsider.com.....tty-2014-5
Someone pointed that out earlier. It makes no difference. The left gives zero shits about facts or truth, only about advancing the narrative. Piketty will be lionized alongside Rigoberta Menchu, Margaret Mead and Michael Mann.
Hell, he will probably get a Nobel just like Krugman and the Lightbringer.
"I have tried ... to make the most justified choices and arbitrages about data sources and adjustments" which he accomplished by adding integers to figures that didn't come out the way he wanted.
+2
The IPCC could use a good man like him.
So, his response is 'tough shit; I like it'?
Didn't some AGW cultist say something like "It isn't true, but it's accurate"?
"Fake, but accurate" was Dan Rather's defense when it turned out the Bush TANG memos were fakes. Also, the last time Charles Johnson at LGF had a working grasp on reality.

""Fake, but accurate" was Dan Rather's defense when it turned out the Bush TANG memos were fakes"
I read someone else's defense of that lying POS and it amounted to 'no proved Bush *didn't* do that!'
Well, he's got a point and no one has yet proven Rather doesn't have carnal knowledge of goats on alternate Tuesdays, either.
To him, making the data fit the narrative is a 'justified choice'.
At least he made his adjustments public, unlike certain climate "scientists".
Somewhere in Historians' Fallacies, David Hackett Fischer observes that hefty tomes tend to be deemed important simply because of their size.
Importance by the ounce!
WHAT DO WE WANT?
Comments!
WHEN DO WE WANT THEM?
NOW!
WTF? I get home at 545 with the intent of reading the 247 comments thus far and there are... 24? I can never comment because all the good things have been said by then but I still get to laugh and learn some really neat stuff. And now I get to hit the first 25? This is not entertaining at all.
The end is nigh.
I think they're saluting "People. Planet. Profit.", but maybe it's something else:

Heil Pork! Heil Pork! Pork Uber Alles!
They are calling it 'The Hive'?
Holy shit.
I predict bankruptcies followed by government subsidies.
And let's see if anyone cares about O-care's latest fudge:
"Health care law changes could give 'bailout' to insurers"
[...]
"The Obama administration has quietly adjusted key provisions of its signature health care law to potentially make billions of additional taxpayer dollars available to the insurance industry"
http://www.sfgate.com/default/.....496730.php
Quietly. Just before a long weekend.
Obama administration officials said the new regulations would not put taxpayers at risk.
Well, that's alright then! Whew!
Thank God we dodged THAT bullet!
Obo's got tomatoes growing on the East Lawn and the girls are gonna sell 'em to tourists from a stand out front!
That'll cover the shortfall.
Just the final installment to Buffet.
Hello!
"Fuck you" were Tupac's last words, according to the police officer who first reached the scene of the 1996 shooting that ended that rapper's life.
Oh so in 200 years we go from 'I regret that I have but one life to give for my country' to 'fuck you'?
John Brown's last words were "f*** off, slavers!"
Don't forget, "they couldn't hit an elephant at this distance."
Actually, those were p brooks, before he became late.
"Tell my wife.... she's a bitch"
Ask them dirty pigs, why the fuck you in my face?
Sgt. Carrol says Tupac was "noncooperative" before he died. If I'm trying to get dying words out to my friend, but can't because an unsympathetic cop is shouting at me, I might tell the cop to fuck off, too.
I'm finally getting around to reading the opinion striking down Pennsylvania's anti-same-sex-marriage laws. When an opinion starts out like this, you can be pretty sure where it's gonna wind up:
Today, certain citizens of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania are not guaranteed the right to marry the person they love.
"Tough shit for them, I guess."
That would be AWESOME.
On Derpbook, I saw a prog complaining about his Blue Cross premium going from $200 to $862. He also didn't get his $140 subsidy. I resisted the urge to do the Nelson laugh.
Did he blame Republicans, the Koch brothers, or the evil insurance companies?
He blamed Blue Cross. I dropped them in December before joining my company's health plan.
If I gave enough of a shit, which obviously I don't, I'd dig up the comment some smug progtard posted here just a couple weeks ago saying that if the cost of universal coverage was everyone's rates going up just a couple percent, why, that was just OK with him.
Back in November, this guy was boasting of how he was about to get cheaper insurance.
"Fuck you, I got mine" progressive style
Derpetologist|5.23.14 @ 6:24PM|#
"He blamed Blue Cross."
Damned free market!
Or all three?
90% of his posts are complaining about Republicans. Haven't seen anything about the Koch bros yet.
$862? How old is this dude?
About 38.

*whistle* That is a V-neck.
I think you meant to say,
"In an unfortunate, isolated incident, bullets allegedly struck two bank robbery suspects during a routine traffic stop. Luckily no law enforcement officials were harmed in the exercise of their duty. Nothing else happened"
Russian President Vladimir Putin shot back, "Who is he to judge, seriously? If he wants to judge, why doesn't he get a job in court somewhere." Zing...?

Every communications major I've ever met has been incredibly stupid yet incredibly arrogant.
Olbermann's face makes me laugh though. He has this furrowed brow/over-focused facial expression whenever he's speaking that reminds me of a toddler learning to do some elementary task like tying their shoe. You could say that thinking doesn't come naturally to him.
Well, I waited too long to book a hotel for Memorial Day, so now I'm staying at the Lawrence Welk Resort for Old People. Woo hoo.
Maybe your wife won't come away pregnant from this vacation?
Not while she's 6 months pregnant. Although, we're going to the San Diego wild animal park, which is always a turn-on.
I'm getting snipped this summer anyway.
what!??!^^
