Reid to GOP Senators: Reject "Tea Party Overlords"
Wants debt ceiling bill advanced
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) on Wednesday said he hoped enough Republicans would reject their "Tea Party overlords" to advance a bill to raise the debt ceiling.
The Nevada Democrat announced Wednesday the Senate would vote to end debate on the bill around 1:45 p.m.
If cloture is invoked, the Senate will then move immediately to final passage of a bill that the House passed Tuesday to raise the debt ceiling until March 2015, with no strings attached.

Adults to Reid: Reject socialist aims.
Maybe he's hoping the GOP will fuck up again and spare his ass. Recall that he should have lost his seat in 2010 and now he's primed to be deposed as Senate Majority leader when his party loses the Senate.
He just has their best interest at heart is all.
By "your Tea Party Overlords", Reid really means "your most vocal and activist constituents". You know? the ones that turn out for your rallies, raise money for you, and get out the vote for you.
