De Blasio Unhappy About Biden's Critique of LaGuardia Airport
But it sucks!
New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio knocked Vice President Joe Biden on Friday for his "inappropriate" remark that LaGuardia Airport could be mistaken for a "Third World country."
It was not Biden's "finest moment," de Blasio said.
"I respect the vice president, but I think his comments were inappropriate," the Democratic mayor said at a news conference, according to Time magazine. "LaGuardia, obviously, needs an upgrade. But that being said, the airport manages an extraordinary amount of traffic, and the people who work there make it work under very difficult circumstances."
