New IRS Chief Clashes With Republicans Over Tea Party Probe Scandal

The new chief of the embattled IRS and Republicans clashed on Wednesday over the tea party-targeting controversy that has dogged the agency since last year.

IRS Commissioner John Koskinen said a top "priority" for the IRS would be to move beyond the blight of its extra scrutiny of conservative groups, to focus on taxpayer services, Obamacare and implementing a law to clamp down on foreign tax evasion.
