Brickbat: A Vast Wasteland

A Swedish court has ordered a homeless man, who wasn't identified by local media, to pay a $415 TV license fee. The man had originally filed for an exemption because his television broke. He later became homeless, but a court declared that despite having no TV and no home, the man must still pay the fee, which is used to fund public TV and radio broadcasts and is also charged to anyone who has a smart phone, computer or tablet.

STV only lost their state monopoly 1992, and are still smarting from that. They are slightly to the left of Pravda back in its heyday.
Obviously a fake story; there are no homeless in Sweden. Everyone knows that.
And if there were any, each would have a state-appointed concierge from the Swedish Bikini Team to help him stay warm and fill out the forms to apply for benefits.
There are homeless in Sweden, but they get free health care which is all that matters.
What happens to you in socialist utopia if you cant do your fair share because you commit the ultimate crime of running out of money?
Given the infinite examples of socialisms evils, how deluded do you have to be to cheerlead for it?
Tony? Shreek? I know, lets ask that fucktard Myerson, he is a nice guy. He can clear all this up for us.
You answered your own question: one has to be as deluded as Myerson to cheer for socialism.
Would he have to pay the fee in prison?
How would he?
Well, socialism is a kind of debtors prison in and of itself.
the fee, which is used to fund public TV and radio broadcasts and is also charged to anyone who has a smart phone, computer or tablet.
Ah HA now those street protests in Sweden demanding "free" Internet access, provided by the government, as a human right, makes perfect sense! When toysis your baseline, might as well fight for some value.
*this is your baseline
Now we see the violence inherent in the system!
A moose once bit my sister! No, really!
Apparently somebody didn't pay the alt-text fee either.
They should just make homelessness illegal. Or penaltax it.
Do you get porn and HBO for that $415? If so, its not that bad a deal
Single-payer media! Quick, someone tell those commies who just got articles in Salon and Rolling Stone!
