California Gov. Jerry Brown (D) on Tuesday ruled out a run for the White House in 2016.
The 75-year-old governor and three-time presidential candidate said he would not make another bid, asserting that California is easier to govern.
"No, that's not in the cards, unfortunately," he said when asked if he would run, according to the Los Angeles Times.
He added: "Actually, California is a lot more governable."
