Ken Cuccinelli To Help Rand Paul With NSA Suit
Former Virginia attorney general and gubernatorial candidate
Former Virginia gubernatorial candidate and Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli will join Sen. Rand Paul as a legal advisor to the Kentuckysenator's class-action lawsuit against the National Security Agency.
Cuccinelli, who left office Saturday, will be the lead lawyer in Paul's lawsuit against the data-collection programs revealed by Edward Snowden. The former attorney general asked supporters on Facebook to join him and Paul "in asserting our right to privacy" and stopping the overreach of government into innocent Americans' private lives.
