More Greenpeace Activists Bailed By Russian Courts
Detained after protest at Arctic oil platform
MOSCOW, November 20 (RIA Novosti) – Two Russian courts granted bail on Wednesday to several more Greenpeace activists awaiting trail, to the relief of representatives and supporters of the environmental organization, the group said.
Four activists - Dutch citizens Faiza Oulahsen and Mannes Ubels, British national Alexandra Harris, and American Peter Willcox - as well as British freelance videographer Kieron Bryan will be allowed to leave their detention facilities after they post bail of 2 million rubles ($61,500) each.
