Rep. Issa Subpoenas HealthCare.gov Documents from Sebelius

Wants more info about site's problems

House Oversight Chair Darrell Issa (R-CA) has subpoenaed Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, demanding that she give the committee a host of documents related to the website's troubled launch.

Issa is requesting any documents related to the website's technical problems, the testing that took place before its launch and any enrollment data that HHS might possess, according to a Thursday release from Issa's office.

"The Administration's failure to provide answers about what led to the disastrous launch of HealthCare.gov and what is being done to fix it is completely unacceptable," Issa said in a statement. "The evidence is mounting that the website did not go through proper testing, including critical security testing, and that the Administration ignored repeated warnings from contractors about ongoing problems.
