Without mentioning her by name, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) dismissed MSNBC host Rachel Maddow's questions surrounding his use of Wikipedia in campaign speeches in an interview with Fusion anchor Jorge Ramos on Wednesday.

"Nothing I said was not given attribution to where it came from," Paul told Ramos, arguing that he has credited "the screenwriters" for the movie Gattaca — though he did not name writer/director Andrew Nichol — and author Ray Bradbury for referencing their work.

Does any one have a link for a full transcript/clip of his speech at Liberty University or his “Stand and Deliver” speech June 2013? Cause I would like to read it for myself and see if I feel that he properly credited. But then, I am just a citizen, why should I not believe an elected official when he says ……

He had two extremely generic sentences that looked close to verbatim copies of generic sentences on a wikipedia page describing a movie.

Yeah a lazy speech writer probably copied, pasted, and edited a few words.

The fact that Rachel Maddow thinks this is even remotely scandalous or interesting just proves what a stupid vapid cunt she is.
