House Republicans Fear Government Shutdown Foiled Chance To Expose Obamacare's Flaws
May have missed an opportunity
House Republicans, now seeking a way out of the current fiscal impasse, fear that the government shutdown robbed them of a chance to highlight the problems in ObamaCare's rollout.
Oct. 1 should have been a layup for Republican opponents of President Obama's signature healthcare law, who watched as new insurance exchanges were beset by a slew of technical snafus.
But in a harsh bit of irony for the GOP, that was also the first day of a government shutdown driven largely by their own efforts to defund ObamaCare – a standstill that has dominated headlines all month.

Doesn't matter; the Obots would say the flaws were caused by BUUUUUUUSH!
His Floppy-eared can do no wrong, 'cause he just cares sooooo much!
Idiots don't recognize a double victory when they have it. The Obamacare rollout, that BO said was not subject to shutdown, demonstrates a great reason not to increase govt power, and the mean-spirited nature of the shutdown shows how govt wields its power maliciously. Incompetence meets corruption!
Nonsense, Obamacare will be around long after the shutdown. This is K Street Republican fears.

I think it was a double win, also. Here we are two weeks into the shutdown, and how many of us are actually suffering? Bottom line: we could perhaps consider getting rid of the non-essential government functions and Obamacare will certainly kill the libs in 2014. The low numbers suggest it has cost nearly $10 mill per policy. And damn if the feds can enroll anyone to save their lives, which just kind of proves they can't find their butts with both hands. Pretty sure no one will want these guys in charge next year.
