Truckers To Slow Traffic Around DC as Part of Three-Day Protest
Not happy about "the corruption that is destroying America"
Brace yourselves, Washington, D.C., drivers. Angry truckers are coming to town Friday as part of a three-day protest to "shut down America" and "restore our Constitutional Republic."
Enraged by low wages, fuel prices, regulations, the government shutdown, the debt ceiling, President Obama and "the corruption that is destroying America," the "Truckers Ride for the Constitution" aims to tie up three lanes of Interstate 495 circling the nation's capital, with big rigs traveling 55 mph, an organizer told U.S. News & World Report.

Won't do jack shit to change the Hours of Service laws. The crazy rules that totally fuck up a trucker's income. And why do we have these laws? Train companies said they didn't like the competition that trucks provided. Warren Buffet now owns BNSF and is funding opposition to the Keystone XL pipeline and might be behind the recent changes requiring a 30 minute break and a 34 hour restart within a certain time. (I would know this, but I started hauling EVIL saltwater from natural gas wells.)
Congress's chauffeurs are going to be inconvenienced.
