Wall Street: GOP Obamacare Strategy Could Inflict Lasting Damage to the Economy
Funding fight on Capitol Hill continues
Senior Republicans believe they will be on stronger political ground if they allow a relatively clean bill funding the government to reach the president's desk and instead use the debt-hike battle to gut Obamacare.
That's a very dubious assumption.
Political analysts and market experts say this strategy could wind up doing lasting damage to both the United States economy and the GOP's national political standing.

More likely it would do some damage to the investment plans and portfolios - as well as political careers - of those establishment RINOS who have planned their financial futures around the assumption that Obamacare will be successfully implemented and will go forward. Wouldn't that be just a crying shame?
