J.D. Tuccille Discusses Discussed FBI Spying and the Eroding Popularity of Government Workers on the Jerry Doyle Show

Sure, the National Security Agency has been caught spying beyond the borders of the United States and also here at home. But the NSA scoops up its domestic data courtesy of the the FBI and the enormous surveillance powers that law-enforcement agency has acquired in recent years. The Bureau isn't shy about spying on its own behalf, either. Do you think shenigans of that sort have anything to do with the ever-eroding popularity of federal government employees, which is now at a a new low?
Tune in to the Jerry Doyle radio show (that's his mug pictured) at 4:30pm Pacific Time to hear us chat about these and other matters of current interest. You can find a station near you here.
Update: Thanks to Jerry Doyle for having me on.

I used to listen to J.D. on the drive home, but the radio station replaced him with that pussy-ass Rusty Humphries.
I listen to him often. Like him.
Interesting story. A few years back my wife insisted we do Bab 5 all the way through. Just as we were finishing up, I was listening to Doyle and he said something about being a pilot, so I googled his bio to find out more.
Clicked on the link and...
HOLY SHIT! JERRY DOYLE IS GARIBALDI! Mrs d'Anconia, get over here and look at this...
I had no idea.
Say hello to Meeeester Garibaldi for us, 2chill.
Meeeester Garibaldi!
OT: A famous libertarian dies.
Papa Smurf was a libertarian? They seemed more like syndicalists to me.
No. I was thinking of this guy.
I'm sure the German government was very unpopular in 1932. Really worked out well!
Here's one reason why they might be unpopular:
Even when a cop IS punished, the double standard still prevails.

I heard one of the fathers interviewed on the radio. He said that this has caused his son to lose faith in the police. You wish the dad would realize that his faith in the police was mistaken.
4:30 pacific time? What's that in real time?
7:30 PM
Next up is the video, "SPIES GONE WILD," with NSA spies dressed in black and hi-fiving each other as they crowd around a monitor going gaga watching Lady Gaga on her bedroom laptop webcam. Or Kate Upton. Or Sarah Palin. Or... does it matter? It may even be you.
I'm sorry but The US Patriot Act justification doesn't wash anymore: "We're hunting terrorists. We don't need no stinking 4th Amendment."
The only real solution is to stash all your stuff in a private cloud, like a Cloudlocker (www.cloudlocker.it) that works like a cloud service but stays at home where they still need a warrant and probable cause that you're a bad guy to look inside.
