Sen. Paul Proposes Amendment to Senate Syria Resolution

Points out Obama didn't think the president was permitted to carry out a military attack that does not prevent an imminent threat

Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., will introduce an amendment to the Senate's Syria resolution Wednesday, that would declare President Obama in violation of the Constitution if he goes forward with an attack on Syria after Congress rejects his use of force in the region.

The deadline for amendments to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee's Syria authorization for the use of force resolution are due at 9:45 a.m. So far no other amendments have been filed.
