Bo Xilai's Wife Testifies at Corruption Trial
Gu Kailai is serving a suspended death sentence for poisoning a British businessman
JINAN, China -- China's most illustrious murderess, Gu Kailai, testified in the trial of her husband, purged Communist Party official Bo Xilai, about millions of dollars' worth of gifts she received from a businessman.
In videotaped testimony released Friday during Bo's trial on corruption charges, the 54-year-old Gu looked calm, fashionably slim and well-coiffed with a chic short haircut – despite the fact that she is serving a suspended death sentence for poisoning a British business associate.
