So what, why should I care?
the in-flight mag on a recent plane trip was filled with ads from various Carribbean and Central American nations recruiting Americans to go live there.
It can take a while to get citizenship somewhere else, so it's probably not a quick fix. Going citizenshipless doesn't seem like a good idea.
