Kiwi Cops "Accidentally" Shoot Handcuffed Prisoner

Police have named the man who was shot by an armed officer after lying face-down and being handcuffed yesterday.
Iriheke Te Kani Manu Pere, 33, was critically injured when a police firearm was accidentally discharged during his arrest outside a Hastings house.
He is in a serious but stable condition in Wellington Hospital today.
