Deaths Reported at Latest Pro-Morsi Marches in Egypt

Tens of thousands of pro-Morsi supporters have taken to the streets of Cairo to protest the state of emergency that was announced after security forces moved in to clear protest camps earlier this week. There have already been reports of deaths, adding to the death toll from this week's violence, which stands at over 600.
From Fox News:
Tens of thousands of Muslim Brotherhood supporters stormed the streets of Cairo Friday, some chanting "down with military rule!" as the embattled country braced for more protests over a crackdown on Islamists.
Supporters of deposed Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi marched in several Cairo neighborhoods and other towns across the country, protesting a military-imposed state of emergency after massive bloodshed earlier this week.

I guess if they are going to have a quasi (or full on) civil war, I have to hope the Brotherhood loses. Quickly and with as little loss of life as possible....but lose, still.
I hope the Muslim Brotherhood is wiped off the face of the Earth.
They cannot be reasoned with. They are totalitarian assholes who deserve only death.
Agree totally. They're a cancer infecting the planet; nothing but a bunch of rabid animals.
Yeah, that totally worked last time.
Some people find it hard to believe that violent repression breeds a violent response.
Other people note that Egypt has been trying to wipe the Muslim Brotherhood off the face of the earth since 1948. ...they better try something else.
All their repression has done is create sympathy and recruits for the Brotherhood. Certainly, what they're doing right now is actually creating sympathy for the bastards internationally.
I think what the coup was a good idea--given that Morsi dissolved the parliament, ignored judicial review, and granted himself unlimited powers.
But what they're doing now is just taking them back to the way things were in the '90s under Mubarak. Actually, what they're doing now is probably going to make it worse...
It would have been much better to let the Brotherhood take a beating in the polls, which, after Morsi's performance, they almost certainly would have done.
What a fucking mess.
A major problem was that Morsi is a corrupt asshole who was leading Egypt into an unwinnable ware with Israel, but there was no legal machinery in place for a civilian led impeachment.
Even if there was, and even considering the size of the protests, is there any clear indication that a majority was looking for an immediate change? It's still not clear to me that Morsi had pushed things so far that a coup was a legitimate option.
That's not a defense of Morsi. But now that they have effectively thrown Democracy out the window, what now?
"Supporters of deposed Islamist president Mohamed Morsi torched three churches in central Egypt on Wednesday in reprisal attacks as police dispersed demonstrations in Cairo, reports said.
"The assailants threw firebombs at Mar Gergiss church in Sohag, a city with a large community of Coptic Christians who comprise up to 10 percent of Egypt's 84 million people, causing it to burn down, the official MENA news agency said.
"Security officials told AFP that another two churches were attacked in El-Menia province, leaving them partially damaged by fire."

The Muslim manned Army is attacking us...same with the police! I know, we'll burn down some Christian homes and churches!

It's perfectly sensible, because there were no Jews within easy reach.
