Cop Charged With Misdemeanor Battery After Pepper Spraying Teen's Pizza
Teen and his friends got sick after eating the pizza, teen called police suspecting deputy sprayed his pizza
A Laguna Hills teen got the wrong topping on his pizza, and ended up sick, after a sheriff's deputy allegedly covered the pie with pepper spray during a traffic stop.
Orange County prosecutors said Friday that 30-year-old Deputy Juan Tavera is charged with spraying the slices after a 19-year-old was pulled over by a different officer for a traffic infraction.

Kids must have had a major case of the munchies to eat a pepper-sprayed pizza.

I'm sure the cops just howled with laughter!
Judge: Why did you pepper spray that boy's pizza officer?
Officer Pepper: Well, as my colleague Dunphy will tell you - all cops just want to make it home at night.
Judge: I see, officer. I am recommending you for the Medal of Honor, the Legion of Merit, and the NFL Hall of Fame. Thank you for your service to the community.
Yet more proof that "Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely."

I find this one suspicious.
Why, 'cause the "officer" didn't also kill the guy's dog?

Cop only charged with misdemeanor? If the teenager had pepper sprayed the cop's pizza, he'd have been charged with attempted murder of a law enforcement officer and given the death penalty. No double standards here.
what are you on about
Double standards? How can you even suggest such a thing? Don't you know they're only here to serve and protect? (sarcasm)
