  1. Fist of Etiquette   12 years ago

    “Don’t have a cow, man.”

  2. Longtorso, Johnny   12 years ago

If Bok is too lazy to put any effort into the cartoon, I’m too lazy to make jokes about it.

    1. Generic Stranger   12 years ago

Well, to be fair, “Climate Change the subject” is half witty.

      1. WTF   12 years ago

We already know Bok is a half-wit.

      2. Ted S.   12 years ago

Too lazy to make that the alt-text.

  3. The Immaculate Trouser   12 years ago

    Hilarious!

…is what I said when I saw today’s Family Circus. This is complete dogshit.

    1. Live Free or Diet   12 years ago

What, you don’t like how his blueballs are on display right on the podium?

      1. invisible furry hand   12 years ago

Are they his? I assumed it was part of a serial killer’s trophy collection

        1. Almanian!   12 years ago

Yeah, I was thinking, “No way his balls are that big – Hillary must have lent him hers.”

          1. Zakalwe   12 years ago

I think it’s a metaphor for the press swallowing his balls. But poorly executed, as ever.

      2. Suthenboy   12 years ago

I have no doubt they are blue, but I think the size is more than a little bit exaggerated there.

  4. WTF   12 years ago

Why is the Burger King talking about EPA?

    1. Almanian!   12 years ago

That flame broiling is a huge controbutor to putting more greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere. The King is gettin’ his green on…

  5. anon   12 years ago

Think Bok forgot the alt-text that would make this a cartoon.

  6. invisible furry hand   12 years ago

There’s such divinity doth hedge a king,
That treason can but peep to what it would

  7. some guy   12 years ago

Giant ears do not a caricature make. That feature was worn out on BOOOOOSH.

    1. Suthenboy   12 years ago

Have you seen a picture of the guy? This is not a caricature, it is realism.

      1. some guy   12 years ago

I know, but it’s time for something new. Just drawing him rail-thin should be enough.

  8. some guy   12 years ago

Krugnuts says action against climate change is just what our economy needs right now! Somehow making energy more expensive will create jobs because all this economy needs is some demand… any kind of demand will do!

    1. Certified Public Asskicker   12 years ago

but making war on coal won’t destroy jobs. In fact, serious new regulation of greenhouse emissions could be just what our economy needs.

      Holy fuck.

      1. Doctor Whom   12 years ago

It’s kind of funny, actually: right-wingers love to praise the power of free markets and declare that the private sector can deal with any problem, but then turn around and insist that the private sector will just throw up its hands in despair and collapse in the face of new environmental rules.

        Holy fuck indeed.

        1. Mainer2   12 years ago

Atlas Shrugged has a scene I call Reardon’s Epiphany, when he asks the authorities how they expect him to stay in business when he will lose money on every ton he pours under their plan. And they say, you’ll find a way, you always do. The parasites’ lack of understanding is so profound, the don’t even realize when they are killing the host.

          1. PapayaSF   12 years ago

I had a Facebook claim that any business that felt burdened by Obamacare was obviously just doing things wrong, and should simply “adjust” their business to accommodate. It’s all so simple when you don’t know what you are talking about.

      2. db   12 years ago

This guy has never even heard of Bastiat, right?

        1. Fist of Etiquette   12 years ago

          Debunked.

        2. some guy   12 years ago

I know. Krugman’s call for breaking a bunch of windows was obviously retarded so now he’s toned it down a little. Instead of breaking stuff he just wants us to make it harder to produce new stuff.

    2. Suthenboy   12 years ago

I dont even know what to say to that. How sure are we that Krugman is a real person?

      1. db   12 years ago

        Krugman is Anon-Bot.

      2. Suthenboy   12 years ago

Ok, now I know what to say. That was such a slap in the face of good sense that I was stunned for a moment.

The ‘save the planet’ crap is simply captain shithead yelling “squirrel!” and pointing away from the IRS/NSA scandals. Or, put another way, we see the man behind the curtain and he has started his “pay no attention to the man behind the curtain” routine.

Krugman is just doing what a good little ass licker does and echoing the call.

        Monstrous tyranny is monstrous.

        1. sarcasmic   12 years ago

Krugman discovered that there’s more money in shilling for Democrats than there is being an economist.

          Self interest in action.

          1. some guy   12 years ago

It’s ironic how he, like Michael Moore and a long list of wealthy “progressives” are some of the best free market capitalists in practice. I wonder if they are aware of this or if they are really as oblivious as they seem.

    3. Fatty Bolger   12 years ago

There is no way Krugman actually believes this bullshit. No way. This is just him shilling for his bud in the White House. Maybe he also thinks the anti-carbon bullshit will be worth the cost in jobs (never his job, of course) and is happy to lie to make it happen.

  9. Almanian!   12 years ago

Horrid. Therefore – perfect. Happy fucking Friday, Reasonoids, and many happy returns of the day, you magnificent bastards.

  10. Almanian!   12 years ago

Also, Richard Petty’s ears are not that big. Fail.

  11. Ted S.   12 years ago

Why did Obama get a bad blond dye job (you casn still see the roots), and spikes to boot?

    1. Lord Humungus   12 years ago

He is not a man, he is Devo.

  12. TheSpiteHouse   12 years ago

    What would sevo say?

  13. db   12 years ago

Obama has no control over the rest of the government. It’s just too big, man, and how can we expect one man to ensure every podunk office isn’t violating the rights of American citizens? But he totally has the intellectual capacity to understand the most subtle workings of the world through science, and the leverage and power to direct thw government to fix the climate.

    1. TheSpiteHouse   12 years ago

This is way funnier than the cartoon.

  14. LTC(ret) John   12 years ago

    Meh.

    NEEDZ MOAR LABELZ.

    1. db   12 years ago

      “EAR EAR PODIUM CROWN LIAR”

      1. LTC(ret) John   12 years ago

Thank you, now it is funneh!

  15. General Butt Naked   12 years ago

Big surprise, I wake up and Bok takes a big greasy shit all over my Friday morning.

After witnessing this poorly drawn abortion my day can only get better, so there’s that, I guess.

    Jesus.

    1. db   12 years ago

      Ol? Olestra!

      1. General Butt Naked   12 years ago

        From Bok’s website:

“Every Thursday night Chip loads up on fat-free potato chips (his only vice) and works long into the night on his Friday Funnies.”

    2. Ted S.   12 years ago

I visit H&R with only cached images set to display, so I don’t see the Friday “Funnies” unless I explicity tell the browser to load the image.

      1. General Butt Naked   12 years ago

        Well, you’re missing out, then.

Any by “missing out” I mean “not vomiting in disgust”.

        1. Ted S.   12 years ago

You’d like me to vomit on you?

          1. General Butt Naked   12 years ago

It couldn’t be any worse than these Bok comics.

  16. db   12 years ago

C’mon guys, it’s not so bad. Obama is the Jack-in-the-Novus-Ordo-Seclorum pyramid.

  17. Lord Humungus   12 years ago

    worst evar!

  18. Hash Brown   12 years ago

Just him with the crown and the Sauron eye would be a good all-purpose Friday funny until Jan. 2017.

  19. Tim   12 years ago

What’s the blue eye symbolic of?

    1. LTC(ret) John   12 years ago

RACIIIIIST AMERIKKKA staring at the beloved O!?

    2. LTC(ret) John   12 years ago

      TEH MALE GAZE?

    3. Ted S.   12 years ago

      Crappy 80s music?

  20. Fatty Bolger   12 years ago

    Free Stuff

  21. Generic Stranger   12 years ago

Oh god, Anon-bot has mastered sarcasm. The end is nigh!

  22. Suthenboy   12 years ago

As usual, pedo-bot has hit the nail on the head.

  23. some guy   12 years ago

I’m starting to think it’s not a bot. It’s some kid in a Cambodian sweatshop.

  24. invisible furry hand   12 years ago

Well he should get off the computer and finish making my shoes

  25. Certified Public Asskicker   12 years ago

See, if we stopped anon-bot from posting, he would have to leave his sweatshop job and resort to prostitution.

Do you want that some guy, hmm?

  26. Almanian!   12 years ago

This is why there are no Cambodian libertarians.

  27. some guy   12 years ago

I didn’t say it was a bad thing.

  28. Ted S.   12 years ago

    Typical woman, interested in shoes.

(This is why there are no female libertarians….)

  29. invisible furry hand   12 years ago

typical man, fascinated by a woman’s shoe collection

  30. AlexInCT   12 years ago

What are you wearing on your feet????

  31. Ted S.   12 years ago

I don’t give a shit about your shoes. You were the one to say you wanted the Cambodian waif to get back to stitching them.

  32. invisible furry hand   12 years ago

    a bit tetchy there Ted…

  33. Ted S.   12 years ago

If you want to see me get tetchy, try posting a link to a news story that’s already been posted three or four times. 🙂
