A Woodstock, Georgia, police dog died of heatstroke after its handler left it inside his patrol car. The officer, who was not identified by local media, has been placed on paid leave.

He died after getting some of the brown acid.
Fear not mammals. Your future Reptilian Overlords will employ tethered human enforcers. You already have an extensive pool of state and federal 'volunteers' available for immediate exploitation.
Winning alt-text.
What a shame. He was only three days away from being shot by an overzealous cop tired of waiting for his chance to blast some canine arising from a domestic call retirement.
Maybe his handler was pissed that the dog didn't understand that he was supposed to "signal" the presence of drugs in that fancy car from out of state.
Procedures were followed, nothing else happened, bigorati, power lifting, hth etc.

That was one hot dog!
Breaking: THC gets you high
next you're going to tell me water is wet!
Love gets you high
what happens if you don't get enough?
Love is the drug.
I Want a New Drug
Personally, I want a new duck.
Will an old duck do?
it's also in the air. You can even see it because it's blue
You can also smell it.
Maybe it had been a while since he kicked down a door and shot someone's happy, curious puppy. I mean, it's like a drug for some of them. It really is difficult to go that long without killing a cute, cuddly puppy. So he went with what he could, his own K9 partner.
If that's the case, he got his dog-killing fix and a paid vacation. What's not to like?
Sounds a very effective officer. How do we know this wasn't a cunning hit?
Also, when his handler called him did the other police dogs bark?
Spartacus? Methinks the handler used him for dogfights with that kind of name.

Racism aside, I'm confused by the discrimination suit.
Now that I look, I see it's the ubiquitous HOSTILE WORK ENVIRONMENT.
"Smithfield condemns the use of offensive and discriminatory language and behavior of any kind."
You mean, like *slaughtering our innocent porcine brethren*?!
The animal's handler, whose name was not released, is a 9-year veteran of the department and has been a "K-9" handler for seven years
He is also now a cop-killer.
OT: Modern, moderate....Australia?
Australians all, let us rejoice, for we are young and free...
I wonder if this is the same WPD drug dog that I played kissy-face with a couple years ago while his handler was in a bar chastising some guys for having too good a time. I never got the dog's name, but it was a Malinois and the coloration is right.
If it was indeed the same dog, I can give a general description of the "unidentified" cop. This seems about right, though I admit that my memory is less clear of the cop than of the dog.
After RTFA, I see that it couldn't have been the same dog. Spartacus was only three and probably would have still been in training at the time.
Still, having interacted with several of Woodstock's Finest, I stand by my description.
Finally, a picture of dunphy.
If it was indeed the same dog, I can give a general description of the "unidentified" cop.
And, of course, a non-cop who left their dog in the car wouldn't remain unidentified.
Nickname for the Malinois is Maligator, due to their powerful bite. Apparently John Law prefers this dog over the German Shepard, and the debilitating bite is only one of the reasons.
That, and the Malinois is less prone to joint disease and has even more prey drive than a GSD. As the proud owner of a GSD, I can attest that the latter is what will prevent me from ever owning one.
I like you more and more pedo-bot.
Indeed. It's sad that the spambot makes more sense than Tony does.
Tony was on a roll yesterday, wasn't he? He's a perfect example of why I think F. Scott Fitzgerald was wrong.
"The test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposing ideas in mind at the same time and still retain the ability to function."
Fitzgerald never considers the effects of holding two insane ideas at once.
