Snowden: U.S. Government "Immediately and Predictability" Destroyed His Chances of a Fair Trial
By calling him a traitor
Edward Snowden, the former government contractor who leaked information about the National Security Agency's sweeping surveillance programs, said Monday that the U.S. government "immediately and predictably" destroyed any chance that he'd receive a fair trial by declaring him guilty of treason.
"The US Government, just as they did with other whistleblowers, immediately and predictably destroyed any possibility of a fair trial at home, openly declaring me guilty of treason and that the disclosure of secret, criminal, and even unconstitutional acts is an unforgivable crime," Snowden said in an online Q&A hosted by the Guardian, the British publication that published the information that Snowden leaked.

How can the US government have destroyed his chance for a fair trail when over 50% of the public approve his actions? He should demand a jury trial immediately.
That still leaves plenty of people in the "send Snowden to Hell" pool from which the jury would be chosen. Make no mistake of that.
Say what?
Manning leaked actionable intel to enemies of the US. Names of real agents, collaborators, details of ongoing ops etc. And he's not being charged with Treason (which is actually the correct legal call).
Snowden leaked what? The fact that there is a real honest to God global surveillance operation in existence that is almost certainly illegal. And that's Treason? Come on.
He broke his ethics agreement with Booz and was fired with cause.
He probably did break the law by spilling TS stuff. Not sure if that is a crime in this case though. He needs his day in court. The finest lawyers in the country will line up to be on his team and this should be a massive trial to wake everyone up.
Fuck Dancing with the Stars, Jodi Arias, OJ, etc. This should have wall to wall coverage to wake people up.
