DC Marijuana Dispensaries Inch Toward Opening

Applications for cards released

The District is inching closer to the long-awaited opening of its three medical marijuana dispensaries.

District residents who suffer from certain conditions such as glaucoma and HIV/AIDS can now apply for a medical marijuana card that will enable them to purchase medical cannabis. The Department of Health released the application form Wednesday.
