Russian Legislators Considering Ban on Foreign Same-Sex Couples From Adopting Russian Children
Lower house of the Duma will vote on the legislation next week
MOSCOW, June 10 (UPI) -- Russian lawmakers may decide to ban the adoption of Russian children by foreign same-sex couples, officials said Monday.
State Duma lower house Speaker Sergei Naryshkin said Monday lower house is considering passing legislation that would ban adoptions of Russian children by foreign same-sex couples, ITAR-Tass reported.
