Ben Bernanke "Jokes" About Not Being Qualified Enough to Teach at Princeton
Then again, isn't Paul Krugman from there too?
Never believe Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke doesn't have a sense of humor.
"I wrote recently to inquire about the status of my leave from the university, and the letter I got back began, 'Regrettably, Princeton receives many more qualified applicants for faculty positions than we can accommodate,'" Bernanke said in remarks prepared for delivery on Sunday to new Princeton University graduates in his commencement speech.

Well, he may be royally screwing up our economy, but you gotta admit that IS a funny line...
In Princeton's defense, it appears that its economics department is on a par with that of a community college, but working there gives one the prestige of being a professor at Princeton.
Thus, it's probably overrun by the vast number of third-rate academic economists who see it as the best place people of their abilities could teach at.

They must be ashamed to be associated with Ben Shalom Bernanke.
