Italy Supports Hollande's Call for Joint European Economic Government

The socialist French President Francois Hollande recently called for a joint European economic government which would include a president, budget, and tax system for the countries in the eurozone. Today, it was reported that the Italians are warming up to the idea, with Italy's foreign minister saying that the proposal is worth consideration and that, "We take note with satisfaction the French position." While the French and Italians might like the idea it is hard to see why Germany, which already has a strained relationship with France, would get on board with the idea.
From Reuters:
May 17 (Reuters) - Italy said French President Francois Hollande's call for a joint European economic government should be considered, Foreign Minister Emma Bonino said on Friday.
"We take note with satisfaction the French position," Bonino told a news conference. She added Hollande's proposal "must be taken into consideration and must be explored".

Italy Supports Hollande's Call to Steal All That German Money

"Dear Germans,
Pay for our free merde.

Italy Support's France's Initiative to Fix Stupid with More Stupid.
Stupid is the only inexhaustable resource we have.
Stupid is the only inexhaustable resource we have.
If only there was a flat panel like device that we could point towards the stupid to harness its inexhaustible power.
You know, I was just thinking that the best way to solve this problem is to introduce even MORE government. What could go wrong?
Ya know ... other people have probably already thought of this and discussed it to death, but what if government ran everything? I mean ... if everything were banned, nothing would be banned. If everything were required, nothing would be truly mandatory. It's like the doofus at work who told me with a straight face that every customer problem was priority 1. I told him that meant everything was also bottom priority, and he just stared at me.
Maybe the proper solution to more government is not to try to slow it down or dismantle it, but help push it along. It would certainly be a lot easier.
Some kind of pan European organization might be in order. Some kind of union... of European countries. A European union of sorts. What should it be called though? It's certainly bold in its vision. It has certainly never been tried before.
...and this union could sign a pact that limit its member states to budget deficits of no more than 3% in order to achieve economic growth and stability!
They could call it the Growth and Stability Pact!
When you live in a community property state, the poor half of the bargain is always in a hurry to get married.
Wasn't the Euro just a way for France to fuck the Germans and Brits into paying off France's massive entitlement debts in the first place? I seem to remember Mitterand going fucking ballistic when Maggie pulled the Brits out of the Euro (of course I was like 10 when that shit happened, so I could be mistaken).
If Germany and the UK say no, could this be the start of WWIII? I mean, shortest war ever, but still, could it be?
The Brits are the only ones in the bunch that can still fight, but you could fit their entire Army and Marines (and throw in the RAF too) into Wembley Stadium.
Short war indeed! "The war was called for for inability to wage it....by all participants". The French and Italians were still determined to surrender.
The French will get to use their new battle flag: A white cross on a white background.
No, it might be Western European War CMXLVII.
France and Italy want a Joint economic government. Germany responds" WTF dudes we tried to give that to you twice in the last century and you said no"
The socialist French President Francois Hollande recently called for a joint European economic government which would include a president, budget, and tax system for the countries in the eurozone.
Any odds they want Germany to provide the president and treasurer and write the budget and tax system?
