TSA Taking More Time to Think About Small Knives, Pool Cues, Hockey Sticks, Golf Clubs, Novelty-Sized Bats
Easing of restrictions was supposed to happen Thursday
The Transportation Security Administration will delay a policy change that would allow pocket knives on commercial flights.
The TSA had planned to let passengers carry knives with blades up to 2.36 inches, starting on April 25, following a policy change announced by TSA chief John Pistole on March 5.

If this policy change is implemented we'll all need micrometers to be certain that 2.36 inch blade isn't actually 2.361 inches long.
