Chuck Grassley Says Boston Bombing Should Cause Re-Examination of Immigration Policy, Loopholes
Maybe a pre-crimes unit?
As Washington lawmakers react to the unfolding events in the Boston bombing investigation, one Republican senator on Friday connected the bombings to immigration reform.
"Given the events of this week, it's important for us to understand the gaps and loopholes in our immigration system," Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, said in an immigration hearing in the Senate Judiciary Committee. Grassley is the top Republican on the committee, which is starting to review the comprehensive immigration reform bill drafted by a bipartisan team of eight senators.

''Given the events of this week, here's a perfect opportunity for me to get my name in the papers' Sen. Chuck Grassley, craven asshole-Iowa,'
Just what we don't need. Our immigration rules are a stupid farce already, what with the whole fiction of the "fiance visa," for single women from certain parts of eastern Europe. A girl should be able to come on a regular tourist visa and check the place out, the same as we can do in any Schengen-signatory country.
