Man Fingered in Texas DA Killing is a Former Police Officer
And now faces capital murder charges
Records show a man whose wife has implicated him in the slayings of two North Texas prosecutors previously served as a police officer.
The records provided by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education reveal that Eric L. Williams was an officer with at least 10 different agencies from 1987 to 2010. That included a stint as a deputy with the Kaufman County Sheriff's Department.
