The real approval rating of Congress is the reelection rate of incumbents.
Seems that the federal government is getting an A.
this
If the states were smart, they'd begin asserting themselves. That would help some in reining in the out-of-control federal government.
How can the states assert themselves when the federal government robs the states' citizens and then puts conditions upon the return of the money?
"Them's some nice federal highway dollars you got there. Shore be a shame if sumpin happened to 'em, if you get my drift."
Not submitting every time would be a start.
Seceding, then telling Congress what they need to do to get the state to rejoin the union, would be a hell of a start.
The states are out of control too.
bombs at boston marathon.

Alrighty then.
Uh, oh. Definitely bombs, or do they know yet?
CNN says 6 peopled injured. Video shows smoke and pandemonium.

I bet it's Howie Carr.

What the fuck is wrong with people?
People just suck. It's an inherent flaw.
Hence why our future robot overloards will find it necessary to go all Terminator on our dumb, sorry, malevolent asses.
"Somebody should vote those other states' Senators out of office."
Removal should be easy. In fact, I think each citizen of voting age should have a blackball that can be used to remove any person whatsoever from government, be it an elected or appointed official, or just some government employee.
The blackball can be used once a year, and is a permanent and never-ending ban on the blackballed individual working for, in, or near government.
Shorter Fist: "I WANT SOMALIA!!!11!"

Just say, "I want to abolish government." Brevity!
Only 28 percent of those polled viewed the federal government favorably.
Some of those viewing the feds unfavorably are upset that they aren't doing enough -- they are pissed that gun control and single payer haven't passed yet.
