Condemned killer Steven Smith's argument for mercy isn't an easy one. Smith acknowledges he intended to rape his girlfriend's 6-month-old daughter but says he never intended to kill the baby.

Oh, I think if you put this guy in gen pop, he will be raped and killed.
Which seems fitting, so I support taking him off death row and putting him there.
Sounds about right to me, although I have to say I'd love to see a crackdown on the prison-rape culture. Still, if it leads to this swine having a short and eventful life, that's Karma.
