Former Iowa Judge Arrested for Pot Possession
Had previous DUI arrests
A former Muscatine County judge who has found himself on the wrong side of the bench for multiple drunken driving arrests was arrested at a downtown Iowa City hotel for marijuana possession.
Iowa City police officers responded to the Sheraton Hotel at 4:31 p.m. Sunday to evict a guest – 59-year-old James A. Weaver, of Muscatine – after his credit card was declined.
