Drug-Dealing Cop Gets 180 Days

But was it good stuff?

HANFORD — Ernesto Servin, the Hanford police officer who admitted to keeping drugs with him to sell while on duty, was sentenced Wednesday to 180 days in jail.

The hearing brought to a close a case that tarnished the Hanford Police Department's image and left many feeling critical of local law enforcement.

Servin pleaded no contest in January to possession of narcotics with intent to sell. Prosecutors said he used the drugs to secure sexual favors from women.
