  1. Fist of Etiquette   12 years ago

Looks like Michelle never visits the calligraphy office. Dudes are fat.

    1. AlmightyJB   12 years ago

Silly. Those rules are just for us Plebs.

    2. Wendy J. Elliot   12 years ago

what Peggy answered I'm surprised that a person able to get paid $8947 in one month on the computer. did you see this link... http://zapit.nu/31P

      1. invisible furry hand   12 years ago

I saw that Wendy, but I'm making $8948 in one month on Hit & Run so thanks but no thanks

        1. Tim   12 years ago

$8400 of that from just Warty.

      2. Bardas Phocas   12 years ago

So Fist's real name is Peggy?
        hmmmm, that explains a lot.

        1. LTC(ret) John   12 years ago

And how he has the money, and leisure to time be first, constantly.

          1. Bardas Phocas   12 years ago

Well he/she/it is a cam-whore so between 'shows' it can pound f5.

          2. Fist of Etiquette   12 years ago

Consistantly, not constantly. But you don't want to anger me, or I'll disappear you like I disappeared this morning's brickbat comments.

            1. LTC(ret) John   12 years ago

Oh, it is not anger I should be inspiring, Fist - more like sorrow at my all too apparent jealousy.

        2. Ted S.   12 years ago

She makes her money asking you what's in your wallet.

  2. WTF   12 years ago

Monks? The fuck? Don't monks take a vow of poverty? Or maybe Bok thinks only monks do caligraphy?

    1. WTF   12 years ago

Although Obama worship is pretty much a religion, but I doubt that's where Bok was actually going with the monks.

      1. AlmightyJB   12 years ago

Maybe we can just pretend Bok is actually that clever for one week. At least that would be funny:)

        1. LTC(ret) John   12 years ago

Sure, but one can only stretch their credulity so far.

    2. Bardas Phocas   12 years ago

I googled calligraphy club image and got a picture of a bunch of dorky chinese girls (and one guy, who I hope is totally getting it on but is likely gay).
No Monks Bokkee. Correct your bad cartoon!
      http://www.nanhuahigh.moe.edu......li2012.png

      1. Eduard van Haalen   12 years ago

Chinese calligraphy, I understand, is a bit more demanding than the American kind.

    3. Eduard van Haalen   12 years ago

Well, they don't have to pay the monks a salary, but they're so obese the medical bills would be through the roof.

      1. phandaal   12 years ago

        So, typical government employee then?

  3. Concerned Citizen   12 years ago

So what, the Fuckhead in Chief can't stop the production of the third Trailer Park Boys movie, which starts Sunday.

    1. AlmightyJB   12 years ago

Never heard of it? It the the actual name of the movie?

      1. Concerned Citizen   12 years ago

Don't know the movie's name, but TPB was the #1 show in Canada for 7 seasons. Look them up on YouTube.

        1. BakedPenguin   12 years ago

          Better yet, Netflix

        2. Silent Cal   12 years ago

And unlike most #1 shows in Canada, Trailer Park Boys was really good.

  4. invisible furry hand   12 years ago

Are they designing the official White House tattoo?

    1. Counterfly   12 years ago

I think it's the official rolling paper.

      1. AlmightyJB   12 years ago

White House Closed? That would be a great rolling paper. I'll smoke to that.

  5. Counterfly   12 years ago

I recognize Edwardian Script when I see it, Bok. Couldn't even do the calligraphy yourself, had to Word it in? You hack!!!

    1. invisible furry hand   12 years ago

you've seen what happens when he tries being funny, so be grateful he didn't try calligraphy

      1. Counterfly   12 years ago

I was hoping it would be interpretted as arabic and they might issue a fatwa with extreme prejudice.

        1. invisible furry hand   12 years ago

so he'd be like Salman Rushdie? Marx was right - history happens twice, first as tragedy, the second time as farce

          1. LTC(ret) John   12 years ago

You have to admit, it would be Bok being funny for once.

Oh, did you manage to plant a drop bear in Senator Conroy's path just yet?

            1. invisible furry hand   12 years ago

don't need to - it looks like it's all going to hell. He rushed it through Cabinet and declared it had to be rammed through Parliament in just over a week or it would be dead. As this is a minority government it needs the support of the independents, which isn't looking likely. And unless there's a miracle, they'll be voted out in September, and our version of the Republicans has promised to repeal it (their libertarianish wing has been going in hard on this, to their credit)

              1. LTC(ret) John   12 years ago

Well, that is good for Australia...might be bad for you, however, if the H&R commentariat here in the US decides to leave in disgust. You might end with most of us on your proverbial doorstep.

              2. db   12 years ago

                I'm curious--what's this legislation?

                1. invisible furry hand   12 years ago

                  read 'em and weep

    2. Teenage Girl   12 years ago

      Edwardian, eewwwwww. Team Jacobian FTW!

    3. Ted S.   12 years ago

White House invitations should be in Comic Sans. Or maybe Bank Gothic.

  6. SumpTump   12 years ago

Sometimes man you jsut have to rol lwith it.

    http://www.EliteAnon.tk

    1. Counterfly   12 years ago

You should have put that as a reply to my comment above.

  7. Bee Tagger   12 years ago

No women, no people of color, no lefties. Is there an underprivileged class Obama won't snub?

  8. PS   12 years ago

    Actually this isn't bad.

    *sobs*

Stop hating on Chip you bitter clingers!

    1. invisible furry hand   12 years ago

are you in a cupboard with mascara streaming down your face?

      1. Counterfly   12 years ago

'E wos under a duvet, naught jerried up in a cupboard ya daft cow.

  9. Almanian!   12 years ago

Horrible. Other than having nearly enough labels.

    Happy Friday, Reasonoids.

  10. Tim   12 years ago

Are calligraphers "at will" flunkies or are they part of some bizarre union, United Pen and Quill Artisans local 1313?

  11. Way Of The Crane   12 years ago

Can You Tell The Difference From White House's $277,000 Calligraphy Staff Invite And Fake Made With Computer?

    1. WTF   12 years ago

Not one thing that can be cut from the budget. None.

    2. Rich   12 years ago

Yes. The calligraphy staff version looks amateurishly inconsistent in comparison to the computer version.

  12. Ted S.   12 years ago

Why is the link to the Brickbat bringing up a 404?

    1. LTC(ret) John   12 years ago

Fist was stirred to anger and disappeared it. Tempt not his wrath.

  13. Tim   12 years ago

If the story broke that the Vatican had three calligraphers, the media would be all over it. Obama? We trust Him to know what's best.

  14. CampingInYourPark   12 years ago

Where's the AM links? There are a few gems out there:

"Obama couldn't eat at Hill meeting without food 'taster'"

"'He looked longingly at it,' Collins continued. 'He honestly did look longingly at it, but apparently he has to have essentially a taster, and I pointed out to him that we were all tasters for him, that if the food had been poisoned all of us would have keeled over so, but he did look longingly at it and he remarked that we have far better food than the Democrats do, and I said that was because I was hosting.'

    1. Mainer2   12 years ago

Almost scary reading this, and considering Obama.

      http://www.mcafee.cc/Bin/sb.html

    2. Silent Cal   12 years ago

In his defense, it was almost the Ides of March. Emperors have to watch their backs.

  15. mtopper   12 years ago

    Each????

  16. mtopper   12 years ago

Shouldn't approximately one of the caligraphers depicted by racially diverse?
