A draft ordinance proposed by the Los Angeles City Attorney's office would declare large-capacity ammunition magazines a "public nuisance" and authorize police to confiscate and destroy them.
KNX 1070?s Pete Demetriou reports the proposal from City Attorney Carmen Trutanich was met with some skepticism.

First, picking nits: Clips are used to store ammunition ready for insertion into the magazine or cylinder of a firearm.
Second, I hereby declare Carmen Trutanich to be a public nuisance to be collected and destroyed.
Third, I can't seem to type today.
Will they be confiscating them from the police as well? If not, then this is just a lot of nonsense.
