CO County Bans Growing, Selling Pot

Decision doesn't apply to cities and towns

Weld County Commissioners on Monday unanimously banned the growth, manufacturing and sale of marijuana in unincorporated areas of the county, a spokeswoman said.

The ban applies to "operation of marijuana cultivation facilities, marijuana product manufacturing facilities, marijuana testing facilities, and/or retail marijuana stores within the unincorporated area of Weld County," according to the revised code.
