America is approaching the point where the government employee unions are so powerful that even the liberals think it's getting out of control, says Ira Stoll.
When public-sector union power reaches the point at which Mayor Bloomberg concludes that enough is enough, it's a hopeful sign. If he stands firm on a school-bus driver strike, people may remember him for it long after they've forgotten his campaign against supersized sodas.
