Attn: New York Area Reasonoids! Come See Matt Welch in Williamsburg Tonight Advocate Jumping Off the Fiscal Cliff!
Tonight starting at 8 pm, I will be participating in one of Todd Seavey's ongoing Dionysium events, on the subject of "Should We Jump Off the Fiscal Cliff?" For the sake of the argument (and reflecting a position that I'm accelerating toward) I will be on the Van Halen/Aztec Camera side of the debate along with CNBC's John Carney, going up against AlterNet's Lynn Parramore and political consultant Dan Gerstein. Details:
at the performance space Muchmore's (with craft beers for sale) at 2 Havemeyer St. (corner of N. 9th St.), just three blocks east of the Bedford Ave. subway stop, which is the very first stop into Brooklyn from Manhattan on the L (so quick -- so easy).

As the famous sign held up on Wall Street said:
"Jump, you fucker!"
Hey, a picture of Dr. Rockso without his makeup.
/slow clap for the alt text.
Might as well jump. Give the people what they voted for and let them deal with the consequences of their decision.
