Embattled Sheriff Hit With Additional Civil Rights Charges
He must have ticked-off the feds in a big way
A southern Kentucky sheriff facing federal civil rights violations charges has been indicted on two additional counts.
The Glasgow Daily Times reports a superseding indictment was filed Wednesday against Barren County Sheriff Chris Eaton, who was already facing charges, along with two deputies, of using excessive force during an arrest in 2010 and then falsifying documents and lying to federal investigators about it. The new counts are related to the alleged assault and the alleged destruction of evidence. Eaton is facing a total of 13 counts, according to the indictment.
