Romney's Victory Website Goes Live (Briefly)

Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney may have lost the election, but it certainly was not for lack of confidence.

Ever the prepared, Romney had his transition website all ready to go in the event he won Tuesday night, and for a while a draft version of the site was visible to the public a full day after his defeat. Taegan Goddard, the blogger who discovered the site, managed to save some images before it got taken down.

"I'm excited about our prospects as a nation," read the opening line from would-be President-elect Romney. "My priority is putting people back to work."
