Fla. Panel Finds 11 Potential Ethics Violation by Congressman
Accusations include misuse of campaign funds and accepting money that could influence votes
Florida's state Ethics Commission on Wednesday said it had found "probable cause" that Rep. David Rivera (R-Fla.) may have violated ethics laws in 11 instances while serving in the state legislature.
The possible violations include the misuse of campaign funds and accepting income from a company that could have influenced his vote in the Florida House of Representatives.
The commission's finding is the latest in a cascade of ethical troubles that has plagued Rivera almost from the moment he won election to Congress in 2010.
