Australian PM Julia Gillard Labels Opposition a Sexist and a Hypocrite
And people think American politics can get personal?
This is not a speech you typically see a politician give.
During a session of parliament, Australian PM Julia Gillard gave a stern drubbing to opposition party Tony Abbott, calling him a hypocrite and a misogynist for various comments he has made throughout his career.
The whole thing seems to have been prompted by Abbott's comments about a scandal involving the Aussie Speaker of the House, who is resigning over lurid text messages.
