Yeah, I had a cat that used to eat all my laundry detergent, too. He didn't get fat though, just dead. Because nobody eats all my laundry detergent.

    1. sage   13 years ago

      You shot him for it?

      1. Fist of Etiquette   13 years ago

No. But if you ever had General Tso's chicken that tasted like Tide, you'll know why.

  2. Bardas Phocas   13 years ago

    Garfield did it better.

    1. Longtorso   13 years ago

      That's what she said.

  3. Brian D   13 years ago

Did the fat cat eat all of Henry Payne as well?

    1. Longtorso   13 years ago

Dammit - didn't see this before I posted the joke. Editors, please remove Brian D's comment for me.

  4. invisible furry hand   13 years ago

Sweet t-shirt. Union Fat Cats' first album was the shizz. Then they started channelling Jethro Tull and it all went to hell

  5. Longtorso   13 years ago

Here is how you do a political cartoon, Payne.

    1. invisible furry hand   13 years ago

here's another - the speaker of the Aus Parliament was accused of sexually harassing a male staffer

damn, sorry, forgot I was logged in... anyway, it involved a gimp

          1. Longtorso   13 years ago

            anyway, it involved a gimp

            That's what she said.

  6. WTF   13 years ago

    Needz moar labelz.

    1. EDG reppin' LBC   13 years ago

Actually, the label quotient is perfect. Best Friday Funny ever. Congratulations Payne!

  7. Longtorso   13 years ago

Look in the lower left - the white box. OH MY GOD THE FAT CAT ATE A BOX OF HENRY PAYNE!!!!

Actually, that would be good for the rest of us, right?

  8. LTC(ret) John   13 years ago

Bok on the 15 day injured reserve list or something?

    1. Longtorso   13 years ago

Bok is in gitmo as punishment for his most recent cartoon.

      1. invisible furry hand   13 years ago

No, Bok is drawing cartoons at Gitmo for the inmates - it's supposed to be more effective than waterboarding

        1. Longtorso   13 years ago

          You.....you.....monster.

          1. Almanian's Evil Twin   13 years ago

            That's what she said

  9. Rich   13 years ago

If the cat were shown brandishing an ax, it would be clearer that he's a lumberjack.

    1. Longtorso   13 years ago

      ....and that's OK....

      1. Rich   13 years ago

He sleeps all night and he sleeps all day.

        1. invisible furry hand   13 years ago

I cut down trees. I eat my lunch.
          I go to the lavatory.
          On Wednesdays I go shoppin'
And have buttered scones for tea.

          1. Longtorso   13 years ago

Let me know when you get to the verse about putting on womens' clothing and hanging around in bars.

            1. Almanian's Evil Twin   13 years ago

              That's what she said

  10. Fist of Etiquette   13 years ago

And he's got the cat wearing flannel, ignorantly perpetuating the stereotype that of course all union people are crude, lowbrow dykes.

    1. Longtorso   13 years ago

      Or 90s alt rockers.

      1. Bee Tagger   13 years ago

        But you repeat FoE's self.

  11. Almanian's Evil Twin   13 years ago

If I were sage, I would say

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

    Happy Friday, Reasonoids.

  12. Jesus H. Christ   13 years ago

    I can imagine the scene:

Payne Manor, late evening: Henry Payne is busy at work in his second floor studio. His cat, Lolz, has draped itself languidly on an authentic 19th century Turkish divan. His easel and desk, normally scrupulously tidy, are strewn about with incomplete drawings, discarded in piques of rage. "Those sombitches on the Reason forums! "Needz moar labels!" he shrieks in a half mocking, half psychotic rant. "All right then, I'll give those cork sucking bastages enough labels to choke on!"

    hence today's submission.

  13. Jesus H. Christ   13 years ago

You see, the "(burp) More" is not referring to the auto unions, it's referring to the labels. It's a recursive reference, like GNU for the linux guys.

  14. Jesus H. Christ   13 years ago

My punctuation is way off today.

    1. Azathoth!!   13 years ago

It's okay, you have those holes in your hands, after all.
