Obama, Dems Beat Romney, GOP in Fundraising in August
Obama's actually beaten Romney one one in campaign fundraising the last three months, but not when including Democrat and GOP fundraising as well
President Obama narrowly raised more funds than Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney on the campaign trail last month, breaking a three-month streak of greater fundraising totals by the GOP candidate.
The Obama campaign collected $114 million in contributions last month, according to a statement released Monday morning, edging out the $111 million collected by the Romney campaign.
