Calls for Expanded Federal Power at the DNC
Not that the other leading brand has much of a power-reducing track record
From health care to transportation funding, some delegates at the Democratic National Convention say the federal government needs to play an even larger role in dictating how the 50 states handle their affairs.
Both major national parties have expanded the size and scope of the federal government and its powers, particularly in recent years.
